Neverwinter Nights Windows 10 Crash Fix
I was going through some stuff of mine that I haven't looked through in quite awhile and I found my discs for NeverWinter Nights, which was wierd cause I was just talking about it with someone the other night cause ever since the new Enhanced version of Baldur's Gate came out, I've been having this Urge to go back and play all the Bioware Classics that changed the RPG world forever and for better.
Anyways. I just got done installing it (I am running Windows 7 Home Premium) and it installed perfectly fine, no hiccups at all. But now that I am trying to run it, it loads the main screen, then I hit play, then the mini-splash screen comes up for a second and then boom, it crashes and i get this error.
'This Procedure Entry Point_AIL_set_stream_volume_level@12 could not be located in the Dynamic Link Library mss32.dll.' and at the top of the window it says :nwmain.exe - Entry Point Not Found'
so does anyone have any experience with trying to run Neverwinter Nights 1 on Windows 7 , and does anyone know how to fix this so i can play my game. I really really wanna play through all the campaigns, and I really want to sit down with the custom Toolset and make soem modules for old times sake. I used to spend hours with my friends, getting baked and writing custom scripts and making our own modules. And we would also play online together using the DM Client, playing it like an old school game of Pen & Paper AD&D. And the more I talk about it right now the more i wanna friggin play. So please, someone help me lol

@greyangel13 your crash is an out-of-memory crash from the Nvidia drivers. It looks like the recent Windows 10 update is replacing your video drivers with something from Microsoft instead of what you manually got from Nvidia. We think the 397.31 GeForce drivers are having trouble. See full list on pcgamingwiki.com. So I get the loader up, I patch, I tell it play. No crash, no nothing, it doesn't bring up the game AT ALL. It just closes the launcher and nothing. I have tried all of this, and it was running on windows 10 just two or three days ago when I decided to come back and try the game after being discouraged as a founder.
