- Fallout 4 is promising to soak up all the leisure hours of those who play it and then some, but that doesn’t necessarily mean Fallout 4 shipped error-free. In fact, there are a few quest bugs that could really put a downer on your game if you aren’t clued into how to handle. Here’s 7 quest-related bugs in Fallout 4 as well as some solutions.
- The First Step is a Quest in Fallout 4. The First Step Information. Talk to the settlers at Tenpines Bluff; Kill the raiders in Corvega Assembly Plant; Locations. This quest starts if you accept Preston Garvey's invitation to join the Minutemen. He tells you that for the Minutemen to return to their former.
The First Step is a Minutemen main quest and achievement/trophy in Fallout 4. Upon returning to Sanctuary Hills at the end of When Freedom Calls, Preston Garvey will approach the Sole Survivor and ask them to help rebuild the Minutemen. After the Sole Survivor agrees, Preston will tell them about a nearby settlement that has been having trouble with Raiders. Preston will ask the Sole Survivor.

Synopsis
The last Minuteman did not take his own life nor was he killed. In fact, Preston Garvey found a volunteer to put a target on his back by becoming the next Minuteman General. Now, the first step is to find a settlement and save it, to begin rebuilding the faction...
Walkthrough
- Right after the conclusion of the previous call, the player is named General and is tasked with rebuilding the faction from scratch. The goal is to reestablish the Minutemen as a force to be reckoned with, starting from the basics.
- The player has to head to the marked location and talk to the settlers to learn that a group of raiders has been making their lives miserable. Then it's just a matter of heading to the marked location, wiping them out, then returning to earn the first in a network of Minuteman settlements.
